Prayers

We adore You, O Christ, and we praise You because by Your Holy Cross, You have redeemed the world.

Jesus, I trust in You!

Chaplet of The Divine Mercy

The Rosary

Fátima Decade Prayer: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy.

The Surrender Novena

For Souls in Purgatory

  • Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace.
  • May the Divine Assistance remain always with us. And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
  • Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family.

Spiritual Communion

  • My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You have already come, and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.
  • O Jesus, I turn toward the Holy Tabernacle where You live hidden for love of me. I love You, O my God. I cannot receive You in Holy Communion. Come nevertheless and visit me with Your grace. Come spiritually into my heart. Purify it. Sanctify it. Render it like unto Your own. Amen. Lord, I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. (Repeat 3 times)

The Angelus

Litany of the Holy Name of Jesus

The Golden Arrow: May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most mysterious and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in Heaven, on earth and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.

Be at Peace

Spiritual Adoption: Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn child I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.

Stations of the Cross

Novena to The Divine Mercy

Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Miraculous Medal: O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Memorare: Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit: Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. Let us pray. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ Our Lord.

Prayer to Saint Michael: Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes: O most pure Virgin Mary, in the Grotto of Lourdes with life, sweetness and beauty, saying to the child, St. Bernadette: “I am the Immaculate Conception.” And now, O ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of mercy, Health of the sick, Refuge of sinners, Comforter of the afflicted, you know our wants, our troubles, and our sufferings. Look upon us in your mercy. Holy Mother of God, by appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes, you were pleased to make it a privileged sanctuary, whence you dispense your favors, and already many have obtained the cure of their infirmities, both spiritual and physical. Therefore, I come with strong confidence to implore your maternal intercession. Obtain for me, O loving Mother, my prayer request, (STATE YOUR REQUEST). Through gratitude for your favors, I will endeavor to imitate your virtues, so that we may one day share your glory. Our Lady of Lourdes, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your Divine Son while upon earth. You have the same influence now in Heaven. Pray for us, Holy Mother of God and obtain for us our special requests from your Divine Son.

Litany of Humility

O clemens! O pia! O dulcis Virgo Maria!

Hail Holy Queen: Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy: Our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, Mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, O most gracious Advocate, Thine eyes of mercy towards us. And after this, our exile, Show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement! O loving! O sweet Virgin Mary!

Litany of Trust

Act of Contrition: O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and  detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven, and the pains of hell; but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life.

Enlighten me, and help me now to know my sins as one day I shall be forced to recognize them before Thy judgment seat. Bring to my mind the evil which I have done and the good which I have neglected. Permit me not to be blinded by self-love. Grant me, moreover, heartfelt sorrow for my transgressions, and the grace of a sincere confession, so that I may be forgiven and admitted into Thy friendship.

Act of Consecration to the Divine Will

Five First Saturdays Devotion

Stabat Mater Dolorosa

Prayer for Divine Mercy: O Great Merciful God, Infinite Goodness, today all mankind calls out from the abyss of its misery to Your mercy – to Your compassion, O God; and it is with its mighty voice of misery that it cries out. Gracious God, do not reject the prayer of this earth’s exiles! O Lord, Goodness beyond our understanding, Who are acquainted with our misery through and through, and know that by our own power we cannot ascend to You, we implore You: anticipate us with Your grace and keep on increasing Your mercy in us, that we may faithfully do Your holy will all through our life and at death’s hour. Let the omnipotence of Your mercy shield us from the darts of our salvation’s enemies, that we may with confidence, as Your children, await Your [Son’s] final coming – that day known to You alone. And we expect to obtain everything promised us by Jesus in spite of all our wretchedness. For Jesus is our Hope: Through His merciful Heart, as through an open gate, we pass through to heaven.

To thee, O Blessed Joseph

The Huron Carol

Prayer for a Spiritual Canopy: Dear Lord Jesus, please forgive me for all the times I have not submitted to Your will in my life. Please forgive me for all my sinful actions, making agreements with the enemy, and for believing the devil’s lies. I now submit to You as my Lord, dear Jesus. Now I break every agreement that I have made with the enemy. Lord Jesus, please send an assignment of angels to remove and bind to the abyss all demons and their devices that had access to me because I believed their lies. I now ask You to establish a hedge of protection around me, over me and under me, and seal it with Your blood, Lord Jesus Christ. I now choose to put on the full armor of God and ask that You cleanse me and seal me, body, mind, soul and spirit, with Your blood, Lord Jesus Christ. Please have Your angelic army bind up and remove all demons, their devices, and all their power from within this protective hedge and have them sent to the abyss. Please have Your angels destroy all demonic, occult or witchcraft assignments directed against me. Please have Your angels stand guard over me and protect me from all attacks of the enemy. I thank You for establishing an impenetrable shield of protection around me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Novena to St. Joseph

Consecration to St. Joseph

Litany of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ

Saint Faustina’s Prayer for Priests: O my Jesus, I beg You on behalf of the whole Church: Grant it love and the light of Your Spirit, and give power to the words of priests so that hardened hearts might be brought to repentance and return to You, O Lord. Lord, give us holy priests; You yourself maintain them in holiness. O Divine and Great High Priest, may the power of your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil’s traps and snares which are continually being set for the souls of priests. May the power of Your mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests, for You can do all things.

St. Patrick’s Breastplate

Memorare to St. Joseph: Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession were left unassisted. Full of confidence in your power I fly unto you and beg your protection. Despise not O Guardian of the Redeemer my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen.

The 24-Year-Old Saints: I consecrate this year to God the Father and God the Holy Spirit through the love of the Holy Family through the intercession of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, St. Elizabeth of Hungary, St. Kateri Tekakwitha and St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows. To the heights! Into the deep year!

Short-Form Deliverance Prayer: In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of His Cross, His Blood and His resurrection, I bind you satan, the spirits, powers and forces of darkness, the nether world, and the evil forces of nature. I take authority over all curses, hexes, demonic activity, and spells directed against me, my relationships, ministry, air space, finances, and the work of my hands; and I break them by the power and authority of our Lord Jesus Christ. I bind all demonic interactions, interplay and communications between spirits sent against me, and send them directly to Jesus Christ for Him to deal with as He wills. I ask forgiveness for, and denounce all negative inner vows that I have made with the enemy, and ask that Jesus Christ release me from these vows and from any bondage they have held in me. I ask Jesus, the Son of the living God, to pour His shed Blood over every aspect of my life for my protection. I pray all these things in the precious name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

I pray for the grace to desire what God desires for me.

Father, may I be the person You want me to be and may Your will be done in my life today.

Jesus, I trust in You. Thy Will be done. I give You my will, please give me Yours in return.

O Jesus, I surrender myself to You, take care of everything.

Mother Mary, pray your Fiat and Magnificat in my heart.

To Know One’s Vocation: O Great St. Joseph, so docile to the guidance of the Holy Ghost, obtain for me the grace to know what state of life Divine Providence destines for me. Do not allow me to be deceived with regard to so important a choice, upon which depends my happiness in this world, and even my eternal salvation. Obtain for me that, being enlightened to know the Divine Will and being faithful in accomplishing it, I may embrace the state of life which God has destined for me and which will lead me to a happy eternity. Amen.

After a Breakup: Jesus, I have feelings for _______ which are not leading to Holy Matrimony. I ask you to bless him (or her) and I hear by renounce all romantic feelings for him (or her) and open myself up to meeting my future spouse. Amen.

For One’s Future Spouse: O Jesus, Lover of all, the dearest Friend I have, in all confidence I open my heart to You to beg Your light and assistance in the important task of planning my future. Give me the light of Your grace, that I may decide wisely concerning the person who is to be my partner through life. Dearest Jesus, send me such a one whom in Your divine wisdom You judge best suited to be united with me in marriage. May his (or her) character reflect the traits of Your own Sacred Heart. May he (or she) be upright, loyal, pure, sincere and noble, so that with united efforts and with pure and unselfish love we both may strive to perfect ourselves in soul and body, as well as the children it may please You to entrust to our care. Bless our friendship before marriage, that sin may have no part in it. May our mutual love bind us so closely, that our future home may ever be most like Your own at Nazareth. O Mary Immaculate, sweet Mother of all, to your special care I entrust the decision I am to make as to my future spouse. You are my guiding Star! Direct me to the person with whom I can best cooperate in doing God’s Holy Will, with whom I can live in peace, love and harmony in this life, and attain eternal joys in the next. Amen.
