From May to October 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children in Fátima, Portugal.
She appeared to Francisco and Jacinta Marto (now canonized saints) and Lúcia dos Santos on the thirteenth day of each month.
Mary referred to herself as “the Lady of the Rosary” and told the children to pray the Rosary every day for peace in the world.
She also told them to pray and sacrifice for sinners in order to save souls from going to hell.
Since we celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Fátima on May 13th, I want to share 13 quotes on the Rosary.
“The greatest method of praying is to pray the Rosary.” ~ St. Francis de Sales
“When the Holy Rosary is said well, it gives Jesus and Mary more glory and is more meritorious than any other prayer.” ~ St. Louis de Montfort
“The Rosary is the most beautiful and the most rich in graces of all prayers; it is the prayer that touches most the Heart of the Mother of God…and if you wish peace to reign in your homes, recite the family Rosary.” ~ St. Pius X
“…There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.” ~ Servant of God Lúcia dos Santos
“The Rosary is a fortress against evil. It is a sign to Satan that you belong to Our Lady.” ~ St. Dominic
“Some people are so foolish that they think they can go through life without the help of the Blessed Mother. Love the Madonna and pray the Rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today. All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother.” ~ St. Padre Pio
“The Rosary is the best therapy for these distraught, unhappy, fearful, and frustrated souls. Precisely because it involves the simultaneous use of three powers: the physical, the vocal, and the spiritual.” ~ Venerable Fulton Sheen

“The Rosary is a prayer both so humble and simple and a theologically rich in Biblical content. I beg you to pray it.” ~ St. John Paul II
“You always leave the Rosary for later, and you end up not saying it at all because you are sleepy. If there is no other time, say it in the street without letting anybody notice it. It will, moreover, help you to have presence of God.” ~ St. Josemaría Escrivá
“Among all the devotions approved by the Church none has been so favored by so many miracles as the devotion of the Most Holy Rosary.” ~ Blessed Pius IX
“The Rosary is a long chain that links heaven and earth. One end of it is in our hands and the other end is in the hands of the holy Virgin…The Rosary prayer rises like incense to the feet of the Almighty. Mary responds at once like a beneficial dew, bringing new life to human hearts.” ~ St. Thérèse of Lisieux
“One day, through the Rosary and the Scapular, Our Lady will save the world.” ~ St. Dominic
“When you say your Rosary, the angels rejoice, the Blessed Trinity delights in it, my Son finds joy in it too, and I myself am happier than you can possibly guess. After the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, there is nothing in the Church that I love as much as the Rosary.” ~ Our Lady to Blessed Alan de la Roche

I pray the Rosary every night. Certain nights are set aside to devote to people I know who needs Our Blessed Virgins intercession. I ALWAYS brings me comfort & strength.
