December 29th is the feast day of Saint Thomas Becket — also known as Saint Thomas of Canterbury and Thomas of London.

December 29, 2020 marked the 850th anniversary of this saint’s martyrdom, in which U.S. President Donald Trump issued the Proclamation on 850th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Saint Thomas Becket.
