Today, March 25th is the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord!

Archangel Gabriel was sent to the Blessed Virgin Mary to announce that she was chosen to bear the Son of God.

This event is known as the Annunciation.

Saint Spotlight: Joseph

Today, March 19th is the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

The Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God is celebrated annually on January 1st.

In honor of Our Lady’s special day, I’d like to share a traditional hymn that highlights her role as Mother.
