My friend sent me an incredible true story about a young girl who had a deep devotion to the Eucharist.

Her devotion was so great that she risked her life to pray in the church and receive Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

Saint Spotlight: Thomas More and John Fisher

Today, June 22nd the Catholic Church honors two saints: Thomas More and John Fisher.

These friends lived in England in the late 15th and early 16th century.

One was a well-known layman and politician, the other a well-known priest and bishop.

Two years ago, I was introduced to a saint in an unexpected way.

This modern-day saint has a rich and inspirational story.

Today, March 19th is the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary!

Since St. Joseph was the earthly spouse of Mary, the earthly father of Jesus and the head of the Holy Family, he is of great importance.

He’s also important to my family.

The saints are one of the most beautiful aspects of the Catholic Faith.

We connect to different saints for different reasons.

One saint I’m particularly drawn to is: Bernadette Soubirous.

Inspired by the book, and using information from it, I dedicate this post to Saint Nicholas of Myra.

I was recently inspired to begin a new series on my blog!

Since I enjoy learning about the saints, and they’re an important part of the Catholic Faith, I decided to create a series for them.
