My word for the year 2025 was victory.
I invoke Mary daily using the title Our Lady of Victory.
This year, I discovered miniature horses. I hope to own one someday and name it Victory…
Below are 7 Scripture verses about victory.
I’ve adopted the last Scripture verse as my motto.
For the Lord your God is he that goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory. (Deuteronomy 20:4)
Maccabe′us […] stretched out his hands toward heaven and called upon the Lord who works wonders; for he knew that it is not by arms, but as the Lord decides, that he gains the victory for those who deserve it. (2 Maccabees 15:21)
For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with victory. (Psalm 149:4)
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19)

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith. (1 John 5:4)
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:57)
