Several years ago, I read about a Croatian wedding tradition.
It moved me and gave me a deeper understanding of marriage, the Sacrament of Matrimony.
I’d like to share an article that describes this tradition and its fruit.
My paternal grandfather was a World War II Veteran.
At his funeral, two members of the United States Army folded the American Flag at the grave site. It was a moving and memorable ceremony.

After reading the quote, I began contemplating its meaning.
Today, June 22nd the Catholic Church honors two saints: Thomas More and John Fisher.
These friends lived in England in the late 15th and early 16th century.
One was a well-known layman and politician, the other a well-known priest and bishop.
