The Conversion of Donald Calloway

Last year, I published The Conversion of Doctor Felix Leseur.

For some reason, this is one of my most popular posts.

I don’t know exactly why this post is viewed so much, but I can take a guess…

Conversion stories, especially those that are dramatic, provide encouragement and hope.

Because of the events happening in the world right now, encouragement and hope are desperately desired.

I want to share a video of another incredible and dramatic conversion story!

Donald Calloway was a young man with no religious beliefs or religious upbringing.

For many years he lived in serious sin — including promiscuity, lust, drug abuse, drug trafficking, and grand theft auto.

His life of sin led to feelings of misery, despair and emptiness.

When he hit rock bottom and was contemplating suicide, God intervened in a major way and saved him from the darkness.

Now, Donald Calloway is a Catholic priest of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary (MIC) who devotes his life to serving Christ and the Church.

Fr. Donald Calloway gives an honest testimony. When he presents his story, he allows others to see his animated and energetic personality.

His story shows God’s mercy for sinners and that conversion is possible for every one, even those who appear lost and hopeless.

It also shows the powerful intercession of Our Lady, who will not rest until her beloved children are with her in heaven.

“Tell souls not to place within their own hearts obstacles to My mercy, which so greatly wants to act within them. My mercy works in all those hearts which open their doors to it. Both the sinner and the righteous person have need of My mercy. Conversion, as well as perseverance, is a grace of My mercy.” ~ Jesus to St. Faustina (Diary, 1577)
